Can I order custom work?
Custom work has tricky timing! "Life happens" in a pottery studio and glazes and clays can be unpredictable. Results can be a bit of a surprise for both of us!
That said, if you can wait and I think I can do the work, I will try to make it. If you like it, you can buy it! If it isn't what you wanted, there is no obligation. I'll add it to my sales collection.

Are your dishes food safe?
All pieces are glazed with glazes that are known to be "food safe". This means that there are no dangerous elements that will leach into your foods, such as lead, cadmium, copper, and so on.

Are pieces dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes, they can go in the dishwasher and microwave! All pieces are meant for everyday use, unless otherwise noted! Some pieces with a true matte glaze may discolor over time with exposure to staining/acidic foods or silverware scrapes. If this will trouble you, buy satiny or shiny!

A piece has unglazed portions or crawls (patches of missing glaze). Is it still suitable for food or liquid?
Yes, your piece is thoroughly useable, even if there are peekaboo unglazed accents or the glaze has imperfections inherent to handmade pottery. Glaze is actually somewhat porous, and is not the cause of "waterproofness"! For a piece to be waterproof it must be vitrified- fired hot enough to caused the clay itself to melt down and "glassify". Yours is!

Are the colors exactly what I see on the site?
Colors may vary a bit from what a camera or computer screen can mimic.

Can you make THIS one for me?
Some glazes and shapes are more or less predictable, some are a magical mystery tour! Let's talk about what you are seeking and see if it's possible!

How often do new pieces come up on your site?
Sometimes my pages will be full, and sometimes they will be emptier! I am not a production potter. Every piece is unique and each piece is given my direct attention until it feels complete!
